Mr. Alejandro Romero Lorenzo receives international recognition for his work at the 5th Symposium on Space Educational Activities

On April 11, Mr. Alejandro Romero Lorenzo presented his work entitled “VirtualIORS: An Educational Emulator of the ISS Amateur Radio System for Accessible Space Communications Learning” at the 5th Symposium on Space Educational Activities (SSEA), developed under the supervision of Dr. Teresa Olivares Montes (RAAP group) and Dr. Celia Garrido Hidalgo and Dr. Luis Roda Sánchez (EPIC group).

The work was recognized with the “Best Poster Award” (3rd place), as well as the “Best Picture Award”, highlighting both the scientific quality and the visual impact of the proposed work. This recognition reflects a strong commitment to applied research and innovation in the field of space communications and technological education.
